Private Silk Painting Lessons at my Art Studio

You can learn how to paint on silk! I will design a special lesson with you based upon your needs and experience, whether you want to create a painting or a scarf or other fun hand-painted silk item. The lesson will take place at my art studio in Somerville. With my flexible schedule, I can work with you during a weekday, most evenings and the weekends. My studio can accommodate up to 4 students at a time. Several mothers and daughters have worked with me in the past and have had a wonderful experience!

I charge $20 per hour plus the cost of materials; dyes, silk, gutta, etc. I can accept payment by credit card or check. There is off-street free parking at my studio building.

Bring your creative ideas and designs and take home a packet of helpful materials to assist your future silk painting exploration. Arts and Crafts Birthday Party

Celebrate your child’s next birthday with a unique art party!

I will provide all art making supplies, instruction and clean up. Kids get to make fun arts and crafts and take home their creations. I can come to your home or you can host your child’s party at my art studio in Somerville.

My party packages include:

For the past five years, Nicole has taught art and crafts to elementary school children at the Cabot After School Program in Newton, MA. Last summer (2010) she was the Arts and Crafts Specialist at Brimmer and May Day Camp in Chestnut Hill, MA.
